Thank you all for a wonderful meeting on Monday! It was so good to see old friends and new faces. There was a lot of information thrown out there to you all yesterday so we wanted to provide a quick follow-up to the meeting in case you may have missed something.

Nita Zelenak gave a great talk on the Family First aid Kit about dealing with conflict. The two books she referenced from her talk were: The Peace Maker and Resolving Everyday Conflict both by Ken Sande. These are available on Amazon and in the Northland Bookstore.
Prayer Jars – if you have a prayer request that you would like to have our mentors pray over. Please make sure to fill out a card and place it in the jars at each table. They will take these requests and pray over them together. You can be anonymous or put your name on it and they will always be kept confidential.

Hospitality Coordinator position – we are looking for someone to join the planning committee in the role of hospitality coordinator – helping out with perfect potluck sign up and getting breakfast set up and broken down on the mornings of our meetings. The Pumpkin Patch play date is coming up on October 8 & 9 @ 10:15-11 a.m.! There are two days to choose from so please come out and join us at the Sanlando Methodist Church on one of the days. This is a really popular play date so make sure to RSVP in your evite soon!!
Our next Moms4Moms monthly meeting will be on October 12! (Please check your newsletter for a complete list of this year’s dates!) This meeting will feature our Mentor Panel again this year. We will send out an email in the next week or so with a link to submit your questions which will be addressed during the panel session at the meeting.
Coupon Books fundraiser – Coupon books will go on sale next meeting for $20 and Moms4Moms gets $10 from every sale!! We are selling a regional book this year that has more coupons from many of the places you may shop locally in the Seminole County area. Trunk or Treat – Thursday October, 22 at the Tuskawilla Chic-fil-a. Order dinner and then join us in the parking lot behind the restaurant for some trunk or treating! A portion of the proceeds from purchases made that evening go back to the group. Tell your friends! All are welcome to this family friendly event. Christmas Raffle – Yes, we said Christmas It’s never too early to start thinking about one of our most exciting meetings of the year! If you have a business or know of a business that would like to donate to our annual event please let the fundraising team know! More details will be coming soon.
Be on the look out for information regarding the Moms4Moms Breast Cancer Awareness walk in honor of Beth LaeBaube to be posted to Facebook. Please consider participating or donating or both if you are able.
Next month’s outreach effort will be for the Sanford Crisis Pregnancy Center – please consider what you may be able to donate to help out these young women. All maternity and baby items new and gently used are accepted!
