Our first meeting of 2014 is this Monday and we look forward to all God has for M4M this month and year! Please arrive at 9:15 at Childcare check in, drop off your children, and walk over to the Rink for food, fellowship and an encouraging word.
Our wonderful returning speaker Becky Hunter will be speaking to us based on her book “Being Good to Your Husband on Purpose.”
Blankets & Jackets for the homeless:
Straight Street Orlando is an organization that feeds the homeless every Tuesday night downtown in the Greek Orthodox church parking lot right across from Lake Eola (24 N Rosalind Ave, Orlando, FL). Many homeless come to get a meal and just to have some people love on them by talking with them and hearing their story. Straight Street Orlando also does a day of laundry once a month as well. One of the biggest problems for the homeless is finding warmth during the winter months. Blankets and jackets help solve this problem. They don’t care if they are used, they just need something to keep them warm.
We will also be collecting a love offering for the Isaac Hunter Memorial Trust:
The True North Foundation is accepting gifts for the general financial and educational needs of Rhonda Hunter and her children. The funds collected will be held by the foundation and then moved into an Irrevocable Trust, which is currently being established to serve the family’s needs. You can also give by check, made out to True North Foundation with “Hunter Trust” on the memo line. Checks can be dropped at any offering box at any Northland site.
$25 Spring Dues are due! Please bring cash or check made out to M4M to the meeting.
Tables 7, 8, and 9 will be providing breakfast so come hungry! We Look forward to seeing you!
